About Us
A place to set the pace yourself
3Ponds Primitive Campsite isn't a resort. It's a patch of Ozark land where the only schedule is sunrise to sunset, and the only traffic is deer crossing the road.
Located along Highway 250 just outside Waldron, our campsite sits at the crossroads of wilderness and convenience. You're five minutes from town if you need supplies, but once you pull into the site, the world slows down.
We started 3Ponds because we wanted a place to come back to — somewhere we could park a tent, throw a fire, and actually hear ourselves think. Now we share it with folks who want the same thing.

Three private ponds
Named for our three still, tree-ring ponds — each one a different character. Fish from the bank, wade in the shallows, or just sit and watch the dragonflies.
Trails & hiking
Woodland paths wind through old-growth pines and hollows. The trails here aren't marked — that's the point. Follow the creek, find your own view.
Stargazing & campfires
Dark skies, open fields, and a fire ring at every site. The Milky Way here isn't a postcard — it's what you see when you look up from your coffee in the morning.
